Barcelona vice-president Jordi Mestre cannot guarantee coach Ernesto Valverde staying next season.

Valverde has a contract until the summer of 2020, but there is an option for it to end one year early.

"We are happy with Valverde, but anything can happen," Mestre said at the presentation of Lluis Cortes, the new coach of the women's team.

"It doesn't just depend on the club.

"We must be calm right now.

"When the time is right, it'll be put on the table."
