Barcelona vice-president Jordi Mestre was delighted with their Copa win against Real Sociedad.

Barca thumped La Real 5-2 last night to reach the semifinals.

Mestre stated: "It has been a Cup match with goals and excitement. It has gone from 1-1 to 2-0 thanks to a stop by (Jasper) Cillessen and that has steered the game.

"We have a great team, needless to say. Things are going well. It is an important moment of the season and the team is in good shape. The sensations are very positive.

"As for the draw, there are no easy teams. I just hope to play the semifinal at home."
