Barcelona are being urged to buy Palermo midfielder Javier Pastore.

Pastore's former coach at Huracan, Angel Cappa, now of River Plate, says Pastore would be ideal for Barca.

"Pastore is ideal for Barcelona as he would have a great understanding with [Lionel] Messi and with everyone else," the River coach insisted. "Barcelona would not have any problems.

"Pastore is a great talent. He is blessed with great technique, confidence and excellent vision of the game, besides being physically in great shape. He is a player who has amazed all of Europe in very little time and he can still improve a lot."
