Barcelona are launching a bid for Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov.
El Mundo Deportivo says Barca are moving for Berbatov after receiving little encouragement from Arsenal over the availability of Emmanuel Adebayor.
New Barca coach Pep Guardiola is happy with the decision to go for Berbatov and has already pumped ex-teammate Hristo Stoichkov for information on his fellow Bulgarian. Barca are confident they can land Berba for around £18 million.
