Barcelona are chasing Tottenham wing-back Gareth Bale.

El Mundo Deportivo says in addition to Cesc Fabregas, Barca have their eye on landing a couple of defensive recruits including Gunners ace Gael Clichy, or Tottenham's Bale.

The Spanish champions are believed to be in the market for a new left-back after doubts began to emerge over the performances of Eric Abidal, and his understudy Maxwell.

The Catalan's are also thought to be keeping a watchful eye on Ajax's right-back Gregory van der Wiel, who is being tracked by a number of Premier League clubs, and Osasuna's Cesar Azpilicueta.
