Barcelona are weighing up a January move for Sporting Lisbon midfielder Miguel Veloso.

The Portugal international is regarded highly by Barca coach Pep Guardiola, who is aware of reports that the midfielder could be on the move this month with Fiorentina and Inter Milan keen.

Marca says Barca are also monitoring developments, particularly with midfield pair Seydou Keita and Yaya Toure lost to the African Nations Cup this month.
