Reports suggest that Brendan Rodgers is on the verge of signing a new contract with Liverpool.
The Daily Mail and The Mirror are of the belief that Rodgers has agreed a four-year extension with the Reds which is set to land him a pay rise on his current £2.5million salary.
Rodgers is contracted for another 12 months with the option for a further year but is expected to soon put pen to a deal which will keep him at Anfield until 2018 and make him one of the highest-paid managers in the Premier League.
Rodgers has been linked with a potential summer move to Barcelona, who become manager-less in the summer, but Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group want to move quickly to tie him down to a long-term deal.
