Santos star Neymar has no regrets turning down Real Madrid as a junior. Neymar, who is expected to sign for Barcelona this summer, had trials with Real as a junior player.
"I spent a wonderful time in Madrid. Everything was perfect, almost everything. I was very young and in the end I missed my family. The club was spectacular but it was not what I wanted at that time," recalled Neymar.
Neymar also spoke of playing Barcelona in the Club World Cup final.
"Playing them was a childhood dream, despite the defeat, it was not against a team with just anyone, maybe the best team of all time, they have amazing players."
