Barcelona have completed the signing of Joan Angel Roman from Manchester City.
The 19-year old midfielder failed to break into the first team at Eastlands since his move from Espanyol in 2009 and will now try his luck with the Catalan giants.
Roman, who will begin with Barcelona's B team, suggests three seasons in England has helped him develop into a much better player and is looking forward to getting started with the Blaugrana.
"I'm raring to start and start learning. When I heard Barca were interested in me, that was my priority.
"I can assure you that I'll work hard and give everything I can out on the pitch.""Being in England for three years has helped me to mature a lot and to become physically stronger," said Roman.
