Barcelona stumbled into the Copa del Rey final after drawing 1-1 with Real Mallorca last night in the second-leg of their semifinal. Lionel Messi struck Barca's equaliser inside the final ten minutes as the visitors again struggled to find any cohesion during an underwhelming 90 minutes.
Despite the performance, Barca coach Pep Guardiola maintained: "These were very bad conditions to play football with a lot of wind, which is the worst conditions to play in. And then there is this silly phase in the competition.
"The goal of Mallorca gave us a headache, but this match will give us strength. We return to another Copa final after all this time and it will be wonderful. We deserve this reward after the effort we made."
