Barcelona striker David Villa is delighted to be back after his goal for Spain in victory over Saudi Arabia.
Villa, who has only recently returned to action after suffering a broken leg in December and missed Spain's successful European Championship defence this summer, slotted home a 63rd-minute penalty in the victory soon after replacing Fernando Torres.
Spain's all-time record goalscorer said: "It's obviously a special day to be able to return to the national team after so much time out, great for me, especially being back alongside my team-mates, because I've missed them both in matches and training.
"There's no need to look back now and I can look forward to enjoying myself again."
