Barcelona striker Henry: Arsenal fans lifted their players

Barcelona striker Thierry Henry says Arsenal fans roared their players to comeback in their 2-2 draw on Wednesday night.

Henry was given standing ovation by his former Arsenal fans at the end.

He said: "It was very emotional. It was pretty special. Obviously coming on you heard what happened but the special moment was at the end.

"The Barcelona team went to our fans as we always do and I said to myself that I had to clap the Arsenal fans for the welcome back.

"Obviously you saw what happened after that. I have never hidden my love for the club and I think the fans showed they still love me somehow. It's a great feeling, amazing.

"I wasn't surprised by the way Arsenal came back, especially with the help of the fans. I have seen it so many times. It always helps.

"You can be 2-0 down, the fans start to boo you and then it is another story but they tried to help them come back in the game and they did that.

"It would have been better for us to go back to the Nou Camp with a victory but 2-2 is not a bad result for us. I know exactly what can happen there."
