Barcelona striker David Villa has shrugged off his international scoring record for Spain.
The 29-year-old scored his 45th and 46th international goals on Friday night to help Spain come from behind to win 2-1 against the Czech Republic, surpassing Raul's mark of 44 in the process.
"I am happy because the goals helped the team get the win," he said in AS. "The important thing is that we are close to qualifying for the tournament.
"I really wanted it, mostly because it was a very difficult game, which we did not start as we expected. We had chances, but luck and their keeper were against us."
