Barcelona striker David Villa says England are good enough to match Spain's success.
Villa, the lethal Barcelona striker, will be at Wembley on Saturday as part of the countdown to next summer's European finals.
And he fully believes that England's glory days will return soon.
Villa said: "England are a lot like Spain and the pressure to win something is probably far greater than many nations because everyone expects them to do well in major tournaments.
"For many years people believed Spain were cursed, and our failure was made all the worse by those massive expectations.
"But there is no divine right to win something, and going in to one major tournament every two years becomes worse when everyone believes they can win it."
