Barcelona star Lionel Messi has congratulated David Beckham over the launch of his Miami FC franchise.

The former Manchester United and Real Madrid star presented his MLS project yesterday.

Messi sent a video message, stating: "First of all congratulations, I would like to wish you a lot of luck in this project, in this new stage of yours."

And the Argentine superstar concluded with a smile and wink:

"And who knows if in a few years you make me a little offer..."
