Barcelona star Lionel Messi would welcome Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas joining the club.
Barca's pursuit of the midfielder is now intensifying following the conclusion of the World Cup.
Asked about the prospect, Messi declared: "It would make me very happy.
"I played with him as a kid, he knows all about Barcelona."
