Dani Alves admits he still harbours ambitions to play in the Premier League.
The Barcelona defender has made no secret of his desire to one day try his hand at top flight football in England but is still unsure when that opportunity could arise.
Alves has naturally been loosely linked with Manchester City as his former boss Pep Guardiola gets set to take the reins at the Etihad Stadium but is remaining calm on the prospect of playing in England.
"I don't know when," admitted the Brazilian to the Daily Mail.
"I would like to play there - to experience what I have seen so many times from the sofa at home.
"The people experience football in England; the way there is a corner and it's cheered like it's a goal. I have always said that it was something that I wanted to do."
Alves has been with Barcelona since crossing from Sevilla in 2008 and has won a plethora of trophies with the Catalan giants, including three Champions League titles, five La Liga triumphs and a trio of Copa del Reys.
