Barcelona star Cesc dumps Nike to join Puma stable

Barcelona star Cesc Fabregas has cut ties with Nike and signed with Puma.

Sport says Cesc put pen to paper on a bumper endorsement deal with Puma after failing to agree terms with Nike during new contract negotiations this month.

Cesc will wear his new Puma boots for the first time this week in the Champions League clash with BATE Borisov.

The former Arsenal captain joins the likes of Samuel Eto'o (Anzhi) and Sergio Aguero (Manchester City) in Puma's stable.

it shows though that the modern footballer will make sure he can squeeze every penny he can out of companies as im betting Nike payed well.
