Barcelona sports chief Robert Fernandez is ready to work with new coach Ernesto Valverde to oversee a clearout.

Valverde will confirm on Wednesday he will leave Athletic Bilbao this summer - and is expected to be announced as Barca coach on Monday.

Diario Gol says Valverde and Robert have already discussed their squad plans - with major changes now being planned.

Rafinha, Lucas Digne, Jeremy Mathieu, Arda Turan and Paco Alcácer are all set to be offloaded in the coming months.

There has been suggestions several could be made available for loan, though Robert favours outright sales.
