Barcelona are in talks with Sporting Gijon for young midfielder Alex Barrera.
The 21 year-old is being lined up by Barca sports director Andoni Zubizarreta for their B team next season.
Barca are actively seeking new signings for their second team and have also opened negotiations with Real Betis for Sergio Rodriguez.
