Barcelona sporting director Robert Fernández played down Lionel Messi's body language during victory over Leganes.

Messi, who scored both the goals, did not celebrate the winner but Robert denied it was because of the fans' treatment of the players on Sunday.

"I don't think that Messi's celebration was in response to the supporters.

"I don't think there's any motive, many times players score but don't celebrate," he said.
