Barcelona have snapped up Club Deportivo midfielder Javier Fernandez.

Fernandez joins Barca B on a two-season loan with the option to sign permanently.

"I'm very pleased and I'm very excited to come to such a big club like Barça," he said.

"I'm coming into a very young team, with some players that have experience in Segunda but I will do my best to earn my place."
