Barcelona captain Carles Puyol hailed teammate Lionel Messi after their 3-2 win at Osasuna.

Messi struck twice in the final ten minutes to earn the points for Barca and Puyol said afterwards: "It's impossible to compare Messi with anyone, Leo is always above all.

"Today it was shown that if we drop just a little intensity any team can complicate things for you. We left more space, they were able to control the ball better. But I am not saying that it was due only to our mistakes, we must also recognize that Osasuna played with great intensity.

"Our reaction was outstanding, but we must take note."
