Barcelona have signed a sponsorship deal with Chinese electronic goods retailer Suning Company, reports, www.sportspromedia.com/. The three-year deal, signed between the two parties in Suning's home city of Nanjing, is Barcelona's first Chinese partnership and is being described by the club's media department as a 'regional sponsorship'.
The club will launch a microsite on Suning's website and the retailer will work towards promoting football, and Barcelona, to its consumers across China.
Suning is a major partner of the 2014 Youth Olympic Games which will take place in Nanjing later this year.
