Barcelona are bringing Sporting Gijon defender Alberto Boita back to the club.

Onda Cero says Barca will take up the €2.5 million buy-back option for Boita to re-sign him for next season.

Spain coach Vicente del Bosque has called in Boita for their Euros qualifying campaign.

Boita will likely arrive at Barca to eventually succeed veteran captain Carles Puyol.
