Barcelona are keen to spark an auction for Cesc Fabregas. Barca are using Chelsea's interest to flush out other suitors.
The London Evening Standard says the La Liga club want to sell the 27?year-old for £30million to raise funds to sign Atletico Madrid's Koke, who Chelsea also want to buy.
Reports in Spain keep suggesting a deal with Barcelona has already been agreed.
However, it is believed Barcelona are leaking the information in the hope it will encourage Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United and Liverpool to bid.
Fabregas would prefer a move to the capital having spent eight years there with Arsenal, however, he was openly critical about Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho during his time in charge of Real Madrid.
