Javier Mascherano will leave Barcelona this week after seven-and-a-half seasons at the club, reports Sky Sports.
A message on the club's website confirmed the news, saying the 33-year-old will be given "an institutional farewell on Wednesday at 11 am".
Mascherano has been heavily linked with a move to the Chinese Super League.
