Barcelona midfielder Yaya Toure harbours Premiership ambitions.

Toure insists he wants to play in the Premier League - despite admitting Arsenal turned down the chance to sign him.

Ivory Coast midfielder Toure says Arsene Wenger never told him the reasons why Arsenal did not want to sign him before he joined Olympiacos in 2005 before moving to the Nou Camp.

Toure, who was desperate to join his brother Kolo at Arsenal, said: "I was disappointed and never understood why Wenger did not want to close the deal. But one day I would like to play in the Premier League."
