Alexis Sanchez would love to produce a display anything near to what Marcelo Salas did for Chile against England back in 1998.
The former River Plate, Lazio and Juventus striker netted a brace as La Roja defeated the Three Lions 2-1 at the old Wembley 15 years ago and now Barcelona ace Sanchez is hoping to find his inner Salas when the two teams clash in London on Friday night.
"That game is historic for Chile," Sanchez said. "It was something amazing what Marcelo did.
"We hope we are able to do that on Friday.
"It would be fantastic to score a goal and to help my team win. Any Chilean player would love to score at Wembley."
