Arsenal are believed to be showing interest in Barcelona defender Martin Montoya.
Reports suggest that the Gunners are lining up the 22-year old right-back as a replacement for Bacary Sagna if the Frenchman happens to leave the club in the summer to head back home or to Italy where there is interest in his services.
Sagna has been unable to agree a new deal with Arsenal and will be free to talk pre-contracts with any interested parties in January meaning the north London club may begin their pursuit of Montoya who is also out of contract at the end of the season.
