Reports have suggested that Barcelona striker Thierry Henry and the New York Red Bulls have completed a deal that will see the Frenchman join them this year.
Rumours have been flying around since Henry was in New York in January for negotiations with the club and they are now beginning to grow legs with both Radio Montecarlo and News of the World saying that he will become a Red Bulls player on June 30.
Initially it was proposed that the former Arsenal star would make the move to MLS at the end of his current Barcelona contract which expires in the summer of 2011 but it now seems likely that the deal will be made official just before the final stages of the World Cup in South Africa.
