Barcelona’s Cameroon kids face uncertain future with Eto’o out of picture
Submitted by tribalfootball.com on Tue, 12/29/2009 - 08:21
Barcelona's relationship with Samuel Eto'o Cameroon academy is up for renewal at the end of this season.
No less than 15 Cameroon youngsters are currently playing for various Barca youth teams after being identified by Eto'o's Foundation.
However, with Eto'o now running around for Inter Milan and given the way he reacted to being offloaded by Barca, there's concerns that the relationship will not be extended beyond June, 2010.
For the 15 players on Barca's books, including Gael Etock and Armand Ella, both of whom are tipped for big things, their deals will not expire until 2011 at the earliest, giving them plenty of opportunity to extend their stay with the Spanish club.

How is Barça being unprofessional? They would want nothing more than keep those kids at the academy and give them the best training possible. Eto'o also knows Barça has an incredible youth academy so I think he would want to extend that deal as well. He still loves the club, players and fans, he just doesn't like the way he was forced out.
it a shame for barcelona to behave unprofessionally for those kids.
if they are talented Barca will profit more not ETO"O ,but i think it is getting more racist
an unprofessional from barca .
THEY WILL ALWAYS ACT FUNNY,BUT BARCA IS NOT GOD WHAT WILL BE WILL BE.
ETOO CAN ALSO TAKE THEM TO INTER,FOR THOSE WHO THINK THEY WILL STAY WITH BARCA FOR LIVE ,LET THEM STAY ALSO ON THIS PLANET EARTH FOR LIVE HAHAHAHA,THEY WILL ALSO LEAVE THAT SAME BARCA ONE DAY
It is normal that any striker would be mad not to play for Barca because their attacking game makes any forward better. Even though Etoo has been impressive for Inter due to the fact that he is playing a different role as a supporting striker. I do not think that will disrupt the relationship with the club for those kids have a lot of potentials and will benefit barca more than Etoo. Etock and Ella Armand are very talented kids and Ella with his size and skills will help Barca a Lot. Remember there was an article i read saying at 15 years old Ella is better than Messi at that age.then just see how good messi is this implies that this kid might be the best footballer the world has ever seen if all things remain equal. I hope Barca renew the contract and their good relationship b4 we cry tomorrow .
