Barcelona representatives held face-to-face talks with Manchester United midfelder Paul Pogba over the summer, it has been revealed.
Pogba continues to be linked with a move to Barca, despite the summer market now being shut.
Mundo Deportivo says Barca reps have held regular talks with Raiola about the prospect of a move - and club officials also spoke with Pogba before last month's transfer deadline.
However, while Pogba was eager to see the move happen, Barca found United vice-chairman exec Ed Woodward refusing to countenance the chance of a sale.
Indeed, it's suggested Woodward regards Pogba as more important to the club than manager Jose Mourinho.
