Barcelona remain keen on long-term target Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Le 10 Sport says Barca seriously considered moving for the Gabon international in the second-half of August ahead of the summer market shutting.

However, Barca found the prospect of signing Aubameyang too complicated at the time, having already prised Ousmane Dembele away from Dortmund and the Germans reluctant to further weaken their attack.

But a move in January is now up for discussion inside La Masia. Aubameyang isn't the priority, but if top targets Philippe Coutinho (Liverpool) and Antoine Griezmann (Atletico Madrid) prove too difficult to sign, then the BVB star will again attract a Barca approach.
