Barcelona refuse to give up their bid for Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano.

El Mundo Deportivo says Barca have been informed by Mascherano's representatives that the Argentine doesn't want to hear from them until they have reached an agreement with Liverpool.

Barca haven't had contact with the midfielder's minders since they tentatively agreed terms over a five-year contract worth £4 million-a-season.
