Barcelona coaching staff are actively discussing a move for Chelsea defender David Luiz. Barca failed with a €25 million offer in the summer for the Brazilian, but Marca says he can leave Chelsea this month for €35 million.

However, Barca are expected to wait until the end of the season before making their new interest concrete.

The problem they could face, however, is if Luiz has a stellar World Cup - so increasing his market value.
