Barcelona are happy to extend their contract with sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta.
The former Barca goalkeeper's current deal expires in June, but it includes the option of a two-year extension, which the board is happy to trigger, says Sport.
Zubi has been in the job for three years and has impressed not only with his transfer market work, but also his management of the coaching staff during a difficult two years of upheaval.
There was talk during the summer of Zubi's powers being watered down after he pushed to delay the arrival of Neymar from Santos. But all soundings from inside the boardroom is that he will be handed a new contract.
