Barcelona are confident closing a deal for Valencia fullback Jordi Alba.

Marca says Alba, a former Barca junior, will be sports director Andoni Zubizarreta's first signing post-Guardiola.

For all the claims, Alba's new contract offer from Valencia remains unsigned and all indications are that he'll be returning to the Nou Camp this summer.

Barca will have to cough up at least €10 million to close the deal.
