Barcelona president Joan Laporta has told AC Milan counterpart Silvio Berlusconi he's prepared to do business over Ronaldinho next summer, it has been revealed.

Berlusconi and Milan have made several proposals for the Brazilian superstar this summer, including a £40 million cash bid which was revealed by the player's agent and brother, Robert de Assis, last week.

Despite the pressure from Milan, Laporta has maintained a good relationship with Berlusconi and Marca says he has informed the former Italian PM in recent days: "Next season we will negotiate, as this season it is impossible."

Berlusconi is delighted and ready to put aside the cash needed to bring Ronaldinho to the San Siro in 12 month's time.
