Barcelona president Sandro Rosell says he's proud of Lionel Messi after he won a record fourth Ballon d'Or.
Messi was named the best in the world yesterday for a fourth time.
"Messi is marvelous when he plays, his four FIFA Ballons d'Or prove that. Additionally, he's a fantastic and enchanting person. The truth is that we're lucky to have him with us," said Rosell.
For sports director Andoni Zubizarreta the biggest honour for Messi was the long standing ovation he received after winning the award: "The unanimous standing ovation speaks for itself. This spontaneous applause was the world acknowledging Messi."
