Barcelona president Sandro Rosell will meet with coach Pep Guardiola this week.

The pair have scheduled a meeting to take stock of the season so far and to also discuss private matters - including Guardiola's contract.

Rosell is pushing to gain a commitment from Guardiola for next season, but doesn't want the issue to be dragged out in public.

The Barca president knows any hint of uncertainty could hurt sports director Andoni Zubizarreta's transfer plans.
