Barcelona president Sandro Rosell has made a direct approach to Manchester City for Sergio Aguero. Despite the arrival of Neymar, Rosell is keen to bring striker Aguero back to Spain this summer.

El Confidencial says Rosell made direct contact with Sheikh Mansour about Aguero's availability, but received zero encouragement from the City owner.

Should their stand change, Rosell will find the money to fund a bid for Aguero by cashing in on Alexis Sanchez.
