Barcelona are closing in on Neymar, despite the midfielder penning a new deal with Santos. El Confidencial says Barca president Sandro Rosell is laying the foundations to bring Neymar to the Nou Camp at the end of the 2014 World Cup.
It's suggested Rosell struck a pre-contract agreement with Neymar's representative Andre Curi, who is now handling the player's affairs after a falling out with Wagner Ribeiro.
A source says while Neymar will be able to move to Barca for free in 2014, Rosell has agreed to pay €15 million to Santos to convince them not to sell their star to a rival in the meantime.
