Barcelona president Sandro Rosell has cooled claims of talks over a deal for Internacional striker Leandro Damiao.

Last week, Damiao's agent, Vinicius Prates, revealed he'd met with Rosell while in Barcelona.

But the Barca president told Terra: "I have not met with this man and we did not negotiate anything. Let each one interpret things as they want." Borussia Dortmund are chasing Barcelona B striker Jonathan Soriano.

The prolific centre-forward is off contract in June and unlikely to renew his current deal.

German champions Dortmund are being linked with a pre-contract move for Soriano in January.
