Barcelona president Joan Laporta has again declared his total confidence in star midfielder Ronaldinho.

In Argentina to run his eye over Barca's youth academies, Laporta was quizzed about speculation linking the Brazilian with Chelsea.

"He is leaving behind him all the criticism he's received," said Laporta. "He is the No1 player in the world and everyone expects the best from him every day.

"In addition to being a great player, he is also a great person. We still want him with us, on this there are no doubts."
