Barcelona president Laporta: We like Liverpool's Mascherano
Barcelona president Joan Laporta has again declared his interest in Liverpool midfielder Javier Mascherano.
He said: "Mascherano is a close friend of Leo Messi. We will see what happens. He's a player I like very much."
Mascherano could move away from Liverpool this summer as his family have failed to settle on Merseyside.

FIFA should make a rule to prevent people like Laporta and Valdano trying to unsettle players who have long-term contracts with other clubs. One thing is newspaper talk but deliberately trying to poach contracted players is another
if Barca wants Mascherano, then Liverpool should ask for a player swap... Liverpool could ask for Messi or Xavi or Iniesta or maybe even a defender... if Barca is not willing to swap, then Liverpool should not sell their player... i think this way is fair...
