Barcelona president Joan Laporta praised his players, despite their elimination from the Copa del Rey last night.
Barca won last night at Sevilla 1-0, but it wasn't enough to overturn their first-leg deficit.
The result sees Barca coach Pep Guardiola experience his first trophy failure as a senior trainer.
"Today is the day that I'm most proud of my team. We had our chance and now I wish the best in the Copa to Sevilla. I have to congratulate them because they are victors," said Laporta.
"The players have been faithful to our style at all times. This is an incentive to keep going and to keep playing football like we play.
"The tie is lost over 180 minutes, we have been better here and Sevilla beat us at home. That goal difference has decided the qualifying."
