Barcelona president Joan Laporta has declared they will not be signing Manchester City winger Robinho.

Laporta was expected to hold talks with City owner Sheikh Mansour while in Dubai for their Club World Cup triumph.

But he revealed last night: "Robinho will not be coming.

"We are happy with the squad we have."

El Mundo Deportivo says Barca made an offer last night for Robinho, but it still fell well short of what City are seeking.
