Barcelona president Joan Laporta has hit out at Real Madrid fans who celebrated their Champions League failure this week.
Barca are still in the running for the Liga title in a head-to-head with Real Madrid, who it is reported celebrated the fact their rivals would not be in the Santiago Bernabeu Final on May 22.
"I don't know if there were celebrations in Madrid. If they cheered on our defeat, then they suffer from Barcelonitis. On an official level I saw cordial and very sporting behaviour from Madrid.
"Our players wanted to give great joy to the fans. Now they are sad and down heartened, but tomorrow they'll be back on their feet," said Laporta.
"They know that they must give everything to win La Liga. I gave the squad words of encouragement and pride.
"I said they must get back up and look forward. They are professionals and athletes."
