Barcelona president Joan Laporta has welcomed the prospect of facing Samuel Eto'o and his Inter Milan in the Champions League. Barca were grouped with Inter in their Champions League draw yesterday and Laporta said: "Fate produces these things sometimes, but I was convinced we were going to get Inter. It'll be nice again to see Eto'o at the Camp Nou. And we will see in Milan again Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the return of Thiago Motta.
"I do not know if these type of games, so competitive, are best for a tribute, but it is clear that he will receive one as he deserves to. Samuel has given a lot to this club and Barca will always be grateful because he has given us many joys during these years.
"Ibra also will be highly motivated. He is a player who likes this type of challenge and knows this has to be his year in the Champions League."
